Greenhouse Fundraiser
Van Kalker Farms Country Greenhouse in Grant Park is once again providing a way to raise money for the PTO by shopping at their store. Print out the form below and bring it in when you shop at Van Kalker Farms Country Greenhouse this May, and they'll donate 10% of your total back to the PTO. This is a great opportunity to help the PTO. You can share the form with family and friends to increase our profits from this program. Van Kalker Farms Country Greenhouse is open 9-6, Monday-Saturday and is closed on Sundays. They're located about two miles north of town, just east of Route 1. |

2013-2014 Preschool and Kindergarten Registration
Grant Park CUSD6 will be offering a free preschool screening for children ages 3-5 at GPES on Tuesday, February 19, 2013. The screening will take place between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. Please call the office at 815-465-2183 to schedule an appointment. Children residing within the Grant Park School District boundaries who will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2013 are invited to attend the annual "Kindergarten Roundup" on Friday, March 1, 2013. Children already enrolled in the Pre-K program will receive information on the program in the near future. If a child does not attend the Grant Park Pre-K program, they need to call the school at 815-465-2183 for details of the event. A certified copy of the child's birth certificate, proof of residency, immunization record, and social security number will be necessary if they are not already on file. Children need to be 5 years old by September 1, 2013 in order to attend kindergarten. |

Ultra Foods Smart Shopper Program
Ultra Foods is inviting you to take part in Ultra's Smart Shopper Program, an Educational Rebate Program that generates Cash Back to schools for educational needs. It's easy! Shop your local Ultra Foods stores from September 27, 2012 through January 27, 2013, save your register receipts, and have your children turn them into their teachers. At the end of the program, GPES will submit a grand total of all receipts collected and Ultra will remit a check for 5% of that total (excludes alcohol and tobacco) back to school.
